These visuals depict the highest level of mass destruction with mushroom clouds preceding high velocity terror.
Perseverance is a word not typically associated with metal but it should be. This is a genre of music where success is measured by quality and tenure not monetary gain. Allegiance to metal is devotion to art, not the accolades one might receive.
Warbringer is a group that should be acknowledged for their dedication. It’s hard to believe this moniker has been marching the globe since 2005! Few bands today live past their third album but Warbringer will be releasing their 5th studio record, Woe to the Vanquished, later this year.
“Silhouettes” is a music video for the opening track. Largely a performance offering, the video is interlaced with images of atomic warfare. These visuals depict the highest level of mass destruction with mushroom clouds preceding high velocity terror. The video is filmed entirely in black and white which subliminally reinforces the message warfare has no gray area. The slow motion cuts give the band members a more menacing look and enhance the voracity of the track. The shaky camera shots make you feel like you’re part of the action. My favorite part of the video is when a school bus gets tipped over by the blast, it looks like a shoebox in the wind!
Warbringer is back, check out this new video and feel the shock wave of “Silhouettes” ! \m/
