Like a black metal gang initiation, it’s unclear if this ceremony is voluntary or a necessary rite of passage. We are left wondering, is this the end of a séance or the end of a life?

Svart Crown is a blackened death metal act from France. Active since 2004 this group has been captivating audiences for years with a wide array of sounds. Black metal has always been about feeling or impression, taking your emotions to the next level. Svart Crown is a band that isn’t afraid to incorporate new sounds to add to their atmosphere. Musicianship and technique are at the forefront of an attack hell bent on keeping you guessing.

Their last effort, Abreaction (2017), was a true lesion in extremity. A new effort, Wolves Among The Ashes, is set to be released on February 7th 2020 via Century Media Records. A music video for the song “Blessed Be The Fools” has been unveiled to hype the record.

“Blessed Be The Fools” features primitive rituals in abandoned buildings, worship through fire and acid fueled torture. Like a black metal gang initiation, it’s unclear if this ceremony is voluntary or a necessary rite of passage. We are left wondering, is this the end of a séance or the end of a life?

Svart Crown will undoubtedly make some serious waves this year. The time to join this bloody tsunami is now. Check out “Blessed Be The Fools” and if a bunch of masked dudes ask you to hang out in an abandoned building, say no! \m/
