From the first moment I heard them I was headbanging early in the morning and got the day off to a great start with some metal from Catalonia.

Saüc charge out of the gate on “Lladre” (“Thief” translated)  with a no-nonsense brand of driving hard rock and heavy metal that’ll get your fist pounding the whole way through.  No fancy theatrics or crazy instrument effects here, just good old-fashioned metal, with pounding drums, rock solid crisp bass and a twin guitar attack right out of the Def Leppard playbook.  Saüc let their skill and musicianship do the talking, not an effects board.  It shows the passion for their music and the ambition the band states below to push for bigger and better things.

Johnny Catrock had reached out to The Metal Channel from Catalonia and I had the pleasure of speaking with him about the latest release from his band Saüc, their song “Lladre”. From the first moment I heard them I was headbanging early in the morning and got the day off to a great start with some metal from Catalonia. Hell yeah! \m/

When I asked him how Saüc formed, he stated “It was simple and easy. We come from different bands and all decided to jam together one day.”  The band has ambitions of recording their first full length album and are to be entering the studio later this month.
