Three women are put to death, pillow cases over their heads, but let’s not forget this song is called “Immortal”.
Lorna Shore is a deathcore act from New Jersey. Established in 2010, the band made some massive waves in 2017 with their second full length album, Flesh Coffin.
The group seemed poised for success but in 2018, vocalist and founding member Tom Barber unexpectedly left to join the deathcore act Chelsea Grin. Lorna Shore confirmed they were not splitting up due to Barber’s departure and added vocalist CJ McCreery (Signs of the Swarm). Now signed to Century Media Records, Lorna Shore’s latest effort, Immortal, will be released on January 31st, 2020. A new music video “Immortal” has been released to hype the effort.
“Immortal” is a theatrical offering with performance clips woven in. Turn of the century witchcraft is the theme. A town protecting their own against witchs results in the hangman’s noose. Three women are put to death, pillow cases over their heads, but let’s not forget this song is called “Immortal”. A blood red moon and a lover’s revenge bring this tale to an unforgiving climax.
Lorna Shore has reached their pinnacle. The band has bloomed into their true nature and it’s more than volatile. CJ McCreery is taking this band to the next level and the time to jump on board is now.
