World leaders put business before humanity, greed becomes more important than life. We fight each other for common things like toilet paper and bottled water, while the corporate machine gets fat.
Leave it to Cattle Decapitation to release a song with a title like this. Human consumption has no doubt played a part in this current predicament, The Black Death that decimated Asia, Europe, and Africa in the 14th century, killed an estimated 50 million people, perhaps this Bubonic Plague of old has a message we can learn from today.
Cattle Decapitation has been judging humanity since 1996. The band has released seven albums, the most recent Death Atlas, was released in November of 2019 via Metal Blade Records.
“Bring Back The Plague” is brutally relevant. A video foreshadowing what we are going through today. A lyrical message superimposed over images of people digging graves, partying and hoarding during an epidemic.
Our idiotic ways could easily lead to our downfall. We could party ourselves right into the gutter!
World leaders put business before humanity, greed becomes more important than life. We fight each other for common things like toilet paper and bottled water, while the corporate machine gets fat. These visuals are prophetic in ways unimaginable.
The worst plague this planet has ever seen is the one called Humanity. Cattle Decapitation has become the mirror of our society and the message is clear. We need to wake up and treat ourselves, our environment and each other with respect.
Check out “Bring Back The Plague” and let this brutally honest message bring about a change in you! \m/
