The deadpan expressions of Zakk Wylde are priceless. When you add a kick ass track with an amazing solo you have a solid video that a lot of people are going to want to see.

I’ve always respected the musical career of Zakk Wylde. Transforming from a long haired skinny kid jamming out with Ozzy Osbourne to the rock and roll biker we see today. From part of a show to the showman himself, Zakk has earned his place among the heavy metal greats. I remember when I first heard about Black Label Society, I thought it was a good move. Ozzy’s career was slowing down, why not start a side project?

Black Label’s music and style has aged like a fine whiskey. The BLS sound is readily identifiable and the accompanying artistic visions has made these efforts memorable. The music videos for “Ain’t No Sunsine” and “Overload” are some of my favorites. When I heard Zakk had a new album coming out, (Grimmest Hits available January 19th 2018 via eOne Music) and a new video had been released, I knew I had to see it.

A successful music video meshes performance and entertainment. “Room of Nightmares” is yet another quality effort. Set during a child’s birthday party in the ‘80s this comedic offering is worthy of repeated viewings. This video is filled with memorable scenes: The expressions on the band’s face when mother first asks them to play. When the two guys fighting both decide to punch the clown in the face! Timmy’s birthday cake explosion or a scene near the end when two men are exchanging blows and the one of them lets out a huge fart.

The deadpan expressions of Zakk Wylde are priceless. When you add a kick ass track with an amazing solo you have a solid video that a lot of people are going to want to see.

If you like heavy metal, laughing your ass off and Zakk Wylde this is a video for you! Check out “Room of Nightmares” and get a curbside view of Timmy’s hilarious birthday ordeal. \m/
