Imagine a band of demons, reawakened by the Necronomicon, unleashed upon this Earth to play death metal and you’re close to the guttural brutality this group discharges.
If I’ve learned anything working in the music business its perseverance. Many musicians I work with display an insatiable appetite for music. Families are started and children raised but the thirst is never fully quenched, an artist must create.
Anders Biazzi has that kind of drive. A famed Swedish guitarist who’s worked with such bands as: Amon Amarth, Blood Mortized, Just Before Down, Pathalog and Scum, Anders has risen again with a new project entitled Gods Forsaken. Their debut release, In A Pitch Black Grave, is available now via Soulseller Records.
If you’re into Swedish death metal, this is the group for you! Imagine a band of demons, reawakened by the Necronomicon, unleashed upon this Earth to play death metal and you’re close to the guttural brutality this group discharges. A pace that is absurdly fast accompanied by sequencing that gives you very little time to breathe. Death metal is designed to devastate and In A Pitch Black Grave does just that. Highlight tracks for me are: “In a Pitch Black Grave”, “Born of Blasphemy”, “Ashes of the Dead” and “An Odyssey of Broken Bones”.
Gods Forsaken has raised the bar of savagery with In A Pitch Black Grave, a true ravenous assault on the eardrums. Check out this release before the grave closes on you!! \m/
