A guitar driven pummeling with enough venom to please even the most bloodthirsty fan.  This frenzied onslaught oozes the unpredictability required to garner repeat listens.

Cold weather can turn me into a real asshole. I’m not pleasant to work with and I cut off people regularly on the expressway. The only thing seemingly able to break my grumpy disposition is quality death metal. The nastier the better!

Satanic is a death metal act from Trois-Rivières, Québec, Canada and they are nasty! This rendition of the band has only been around since 2016. They actually started back in 2010 as Satanic Glue Sniffers and released two full length albums: Fake Messiah (2013) & War on Terror (2014), before the name change.

Although musically, Architecture of Chaos offers nothing new. The presentation is superb. A guitar driven pummeling with enough venom to please even the most bloodthirsty fan.  This frenzied onslaught oozes the unpredictability required to garner repeat listens.

The vocals of Izaac (Zak) Beaudoin are easily the highlight of this release.  Dirty and blasphemous, his delivery is slightly reminiscent of David Vincent of Morbid Angel. When you add some quality bass work and drums ready to wake the dead, this overall attack becomes even more exciting. Highlight tracks for me are: “Mephistophelian“, “World of Chaos”, “Processing the Dead”, “Systematic Fear” and “Tchernobyl 86”.

Satanic’s Architecture of Chaos was released last September via Brutal Records and I urge you to check it out. This barrage of death laden thrash might just be the extreme construction of discord you are looking for! \m/

Satanic are :
